The museum is open seven days a week, and is open to the public. It also hosts special events and performances at the Hooper-Schaefer Fine Arts Center, including performances by local musicians.


While you're in Waco, be sure to also visit the Red Men Museum and Library. It's owned by the Texas Red Men Foundation, Inc., and features artifacts and a library focused on Waco's history, as well as the Civil War and the Second World War. The museum is located in a historic building reminiscent of Thomas Jefferson's Monticello plantation, and features stained glass windows, pews, and iPod kiosks.
